Project : When Touch Matters

As per the Govt. records and media reports the number of cases of sexual assault in Young children, both boys and girls have increased like anything and the problem is that they don’t know what is happening. In most of the cases, it’s the family members or close friends who are the assaulters.

Talking about touch is still a sensitive topic for parents to discuss with their children. So, our campaign #when touch matters is to raise awareness about Good and Bad touch among children (all the genders) with interactive session including stories, poem and activities through which they learn how to deal with the situation and over come from that to become emotionally strong.

This campaign was taken out in the schools of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal & Uttarakhand. Through this campaign we touched the lives of 27,000 children. The credit goes to the 15 changemakers who have taken the responsibility to assist us in sustaining the campaign.
