Project: SWAD

( Sehat Wajan Aur Dimag)

Empty stomach may lead to zero figure, but in childhood it will lead to zero mental and physical development which leads to literacy. In the year 2001, the Supreme Court of India ordered all the state governments and union territories to implement Mid Day Meal Scheme and provide cooked meals to school children from Government and Government-aided schools.

Continuing the zeal of venturing into newer areas to facilitate the process of development, inyear 2018, Sai Sanrachna Foundation has started another project, “S.W.A.D” Sehat Wajan Aur Dimag with the support of Individual donors and LENS Foundation. The project focuses on the concept of providing one-time hot meal to ensure the children’s mental as well as physical health to build interest in activities and in studies. Team S.S.F has been successful in timely delivery of all commitments made and has given its best even during odd weathers and difficult work situations.
